CG Coordinator - North Hollywood

CoSA VFX, Inc. is looking for a Los Angeles-based CG Coordinator for its North Hollywood studio.  Successful candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a department Coordinator in episodic television or feature films.

Our company is a fast-paced and highly collaborative production environment. Recent projects include Westworld, Gotham, Stranger Things and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..

Successful CoSA staff are passionate about providing high-levels of organization and demonstrated ability to understand when to act and when to seek advice.

  • Schedule, prioritize and track internal technical assignments and project details with guidance from department head and supervisors.
  • Forecast needs and monitor department resources, report progress and issues.
  • Communicate effectively with other studio departments
  • Ensure daily notes and critical information are recorded and shared in a timely manner
  • Confirm CG teams are clear on daily delivery objectives.
  • Ensure each project’s scope, status and completion information up to date.
  • Document decisions and requests, and ensuring items are tracked and managed appropriately.
  • Ensure work is being approved and completed on time and to specification.
  • Establish quality control and project closure processes
  • Help to maintain a positive, upbeat and professional production office, being pro-active and solution-orientated


  • 2+ years’ experience as a department coordinator in episodic television in a VFX studio
  • Solid understanding of CG pipeline- the various disciplines and their movement through the pipeline
  • Knowledge of CG Software- Maya, Houdini, Fume, 3DS Max & Modo a huge plus
