Pennyworth Graces The Cover of Emmy Magazine

Pennyworth is a new series that will be airing on the premium EPIX cable channel in July, and the series' star Jack Bannon was recently featured on the cover of this month's issue of Emmy magazine.
The cover touts Pennyworth's role as part of EPIX's expansion and growth that also includes a new series starring Sir Ben Kingsley.
The show comes from Gotham creators Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon, and it follows Alfred Pennyworth most famous as Batman's butler, starting a security firm in 1960s London. CoSA worked extensively on visual effects throughout Gotham's five-year run, and we are proud to be the exclusive VFX house for Pennyworth, where CoSA VFX has employed several techniques to build elements to create a very different time and atmosphere for the series.
In the Emmy magazine feature, EPIX President Michael Wright praised the work Cannon and Heller have brought to Pennyworth.
"They made something wholly distinctive and instinctive with their vision," he said. "The interplay between familiarity and surprise is an affirmation of what I believe in, which is why I like this so much."
"This is not a superhero show," Jack Bannon said in the Emmy piece. "It's a character-driven drama and very stylized, and we're all excited by it. Every day when I went to the studio, I counted myself as the luckiest man in the world."
